The University of Surrey has unveiled a prestigious ‘purple plaque.’

It’s for Dr Anna Vartapetiance, the founder of online safety technology firm Securium.

She gained her PhD at Surrey’s Centre for Cyber Security.

The Purple Plaque will be displayed in the Alan Turing Building in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
