Walton is to get a slice of £1 million to help tackle drug dealing, vandalism and littering.

Surrey’s Police and Crime Commissioner,, Lisa Townsend has secured the money which is coming from central Government.

The grant is part of the fifth round of Safer Streets funding which has so far seen over £120million shared across England and Wales.

Extra CCTV will be installed across Walton, speed bumps created, and improvements will also be made to St John’s estate garden.
