Woking Council has begun six weeks of consultation on proposals to save 12 million pounds.
The plans include the removal of some discretionary services and the closure of public toilets and Woking’s indoor pool in the park.
Last month five thousand people signed a petition to save the swimming pool.
The council, which is effectively bankrupt, has debts forecast to rise to 2.6 billion pounds.
The consultation ends on November 12th.
