Residents in Spelthorne being are asked to return their used and unwanted mobility aids so the NHS can recycle them for reuse.

The new initiative is a collaborative effort which is fronted by the library team across the seven libraries in the Staines group.

Residents can drop off their used mobility aids at any of the libraries in the group where they will be organised and stored.

Once 20-30 items are returned, Milbrook, a walking aid management company will collect them for recycling or cleaning for reuse.
