Chertsey Make Ready Centre has reopened, almost a year after a flood caused by a burst water main

In that time, it’s seen a £500,000 upgrade, including a larger crew room, a new reception, and a new computer suite.

The centres are used by ambulance workers at the start and end of shifts, and to prepare the vehicles.

Ashford and St Peter’s Trust says they “took the opportunity” to carry out the “much needed improvements” to the facilities.
