Wandsworth Council is doubling the financial assistance it provides to some residents to help them through the Cost of Living Crisis

The package of support is increasing from £5 million to £10 million.

The Labour run authority says it is the “largest and most generous scheme of its kind in London.”

Bosses say the money is being made available via “careful long-term budgeting.”
