Older residents in Kensington and Chelsea are once again being given the opportunity to leave the borough during the Notting Hill Carnival.

Those living along the route are being offered a three night seaside hotel break in Eastbourne.

It’s part of an annual scheme operated by Kensington and Chelsea Council in collaboration with Age UK.

Carnival takes place annually on the last weekend in August, but older residents have, in the past, voiced their concern over noise.
