Seven charities in Surrey have received £1,000 each as a part of Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards.

The Ryan MS Therapy Centre in Coulsdon, Cruse Bereavement Support in Chertsey and CSIS- Hope for Hasit in West Byfleet will all benefit from the money.

Members of the public were invited to nominate causes close to their heart, racking up to 135,000 nominations across England and Ireland.

This is the fifth year running that Benefact Group’s giving away a total of £1million to charities.
