Wimbledon will urge players not to take similar action to England cricketer Jonny Bairstow if protestors disrupt this year’s tennis Championships.

The wicket-keeper carried a pitch invader off the ground at Lord’s during the second Ashes Test yesterday.

But the All-England Club says it already has security plans in place if Just Stop Oil demonstrators – who’ve also interrupted the World Snooker Championships and rugby union Premiership final – cause a disturbance.
