The haul included convincing imitations of big‑name brands including Chanel, Dior, Hugo Boss and Paco Rabanne.

We’re told the bottles were cheap replicas stuffed into generic boxes which did not carry key safety and traceability information.

This raid follows a recent swoop on four businesses in Uxbridge Road, where potentially dangerous beauty products were confiscated.

The haul included convincing imitations of big‑name brands including Chanel, Dior, Hugo Boss and Paco Rabanne. The bottles were cheap replicas stuffed into generic boxes which did not carry the key safety and traceability information required by law.

When shown samples, Chanel confirmed to H&F Trading Standards that the products were counterfeit and breached their trademarks. Further investigations are taking place around the other brands seized.

Trading Standards officer Denise Power, said:

Consumers should be aware that fake perfumes can contain harsh chemicals which can trigger unpleasant skin reactions. Avoid buying these goods from anywhere other than reputable retailers.”
