Young people are set to perform a new musical celebrating Kingston’s history at the Rose Theatre.

Bridging Kingston, a six-month project, involved 75 young creators working with composer Chyenne Gibbs-Singh to produce the show.

The musical features key moments from Kingston’s past, from King Athelstan’s crowning in 925 to WWII evacuee stories.

The musical opens the 10-day FUSE International Festival, showcasing over 80 arts events across Kingston.
