The development in Tooting will see a pavilion café, amphitheatre, gardens, playgrounds, ponds, a new footbridge and a youth shelter.
There will also be areas for sports activities.
A formal opening of the park is planned for spring next year in line with Wandsworth’s Borough of Culture celebrations.
