Women are being urged to apply for a scholarship at Kingston University on the sixth anniversary of a graduate’s death.

Applications are now open for the 2026 Niloufar Ebrahim Bursary which commemorates Niloufar and her husband, Saeed.

They were among the 176 passengers and crew killed when Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 was downed in Iran six years ago.

The bursary is part of a five-year partnership between the Ebrahim family and Kingston University and is worth £1,000.
