Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare says it is “fighting” speculative plans for up to 90 homes on the site where it operates.

No full planning application has been submitted to Elmbridge Borough Council for Burhill Kennels in Hersham.

But authority documents show speculative plans where about 50% of the homes could be reserved as affordable housing.

Carol Marshall, the manager of Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare, says she is thinking about the worst-case scenario.
