Wandsworth is marking its year as London Borough of Culture with its biggest Black History programme yet.

Events will take place across Wandsworth, Battersea, Tooting, Putney, Roehampton, Clapham and Nine Elms.

African and Caribbean culture will be celebrated through music, dance, film, art and storytelling with a Windrush event in Battersea.

The council is also backing 11 community projects with funding up to £2,000 each.
