Wandsworth is celebrating South Asian Heritage Month with the launch of eight new community projects.

Each project has received up to £2,000 each thanks to funding from the council and National Lottery.

They include comedy, music, food, workshops, and a tribute to Tara Theatre founder Jatinder Verma.

The programme of events is part of Wandsworth’s year as London Borough of Culture.
