Nadia Shireen led a story time at Tooting Library, reading Geoffrey Gets the Jitters with birthday-themed activities.
The programme, supported locally by the People’s Postcode Lottery, gives free monthly books to children under five.
Over 6,500 families in Wandsworth have already signed up, helping to foster a lifelong love of reading.
