It has received a major “glow up” to commemorate the town’s accolade as the London Borough of Culture 2025.
New exterior lighting has been installed to give off a multicolour glow after dark.
Built in 1939, Wandsworth Bridge is often referred to as London’s “most boring”.
That’s because during World War II, it was painted a dull blue/grey for camouflage against potential air raids.
