Volunteers are being sort by the Met Police Special Constabulary to work in areas such as Wimbledon and Kingston.

Special constables are volunteer police officers who, in addition to their day-jobs, donate 16 hours of their free time each month.

With the aim of supporting their community, “specials” hold the same policing powers as regular police officers.
