Urfan Sharif, who was jailed last month for murdering his 10-year-old daughter Sara in Woking, has been attacked in Belmarsh Prison.
He’s understood to have suffered slashes to his face and body on New Year’s Day, but his injuries are not life threatening.
Two inmates reportedly attacked him with the jagged lid of a tuna tin, and the police are investigating the assault.
Sharif and Sara’s stepmother were sentenced to life behind bars, with a judge saying Sara had faced years of ‘despicable’ abuse.
