University of Surrey researchers are helping turn Europe’s olive oil waste into clean fuel.

The team is part of a new project that’s using olive pulp, stones, and leaves to make bioplastics, fertilisers and green energy.

It’s hoped the work will make olive oil production cleaner and better for the planet.
