Two Just Stop Oil supporters who invaded the pitch at Twickenham during a rugby match have been cleared of criminal damage.

Two protesters have been found not guilty of criminal damage, after orange powder paint was thrown over Twickenham’s rugby pitch last year.

It happened during the Gallagher Premiership Rugby final last May.

Prosecutors say they accept the jury’s decision.

Just Stop Oil’s action aims to stop new oil and gas licences.
