Tributes are being paid to Holocaust survivor Vera Schaufeld who has died at the age of 95.

The Association of Jewish Refugees says the “extraordinary ambassador” had “inspired countless people”,.

Ms Schaufeld was made an MBE at Buckingham Palace in 2019 for her services to Holocaust remembrance and education.

She received an honorary doctorate from the University of Roehampton later that year.
