Tolworth Court Farm is set to become one of London’s leading nature reserves thanks to over half a million pounds worth of funding.

The grants include £238,000 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund along with £149,000 from the Rewild London Fund.

Kingston Council and community groups have been preparing a rewilding plan for the site over the last two years in anticipation.

The project will focus on restoring the historic wetland habitats.

Cows and pigs will also be introduced for “conservation grazing.”
