Officers were called to reports of the incident along Fullerton Road just after 7:30 pm on Saturday the 15th of November.
The young man, in his late teens, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains there.
The three men, two in their 20s and one in his late teens, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released on bail.
