Three Croydon businesses have been fined a combined total of £130,000 for employing illegal workers

Hazar Kebab, of Croydon High Street, was hit with a £40,000 fine.

Jose Joseph, of Joseph’s Veg, in Surrey Street Market has been fined £45,000.

Veronica Twumasi and Maxwell Twumasi, of New Addington, were fined £45,000.

The Home Office releases a quarterly report on illegal working in the UK to deter employers and publish the names of offending businesses.
