This summer will see the final annual Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival before it turns into a biennial event.

The first one was held at the historic grounds in 1990 when it was known as the Hampton Court Flower Show.

A new category for this July is “Gardens of Curiosity” which invites designers to create spaces “that spark inquisitiveness.”

Next year’s Garden Festival will be held at Badminton Estate in Gloucestershire before it returns to Hampton Court in 2027.
