Pearl and Amelia were alone with their 36-year-old mother Carole last summer when she suffered a seizure and lost consciousness.
Paramedics arrived in less than five minutes, followed by an ambulance crew who took Carole to hospital.
She had suffered a life-threatening bleed on her brain but has since made a good recovery.
