The blaze had broken out in a wood panelled garden area on top of the building in Lampton Avenue last September.
The Met Police says the officers were “meticulous in their search” to help every resident to safety.
The officers involved have been nominated for a Police Bravery Award.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on July the 11th.
