There’s going to be more disruption to train services because of strike action.

The drivers’ union Aslef’s announced it’ll stage a series of walkouts and introduce a new overtime ban from the end of the month.

It’s in their long-running dispute with operating companies over pay.

Members will walk out at Southeastern, Southern/Gatwick Express, GTR Thameslink, South Western Railway main line and depot drivers, and SWR Island Line on Tuesday the 30th of January; at Northern Trains and TransPennine Trains on Wednesday the 31st of January; at C2C, Greater Anglia, and LNER on Friday the 2nd of February; at Avanti West Coast, East Midlands Railway, and West Midlands Trains on Saturday the 3rd of February, and at Chiltern, CrossCountry, and GWR on Monday the 5th of February.

Members will also refuse to work their rest days from Monday the 29th of January to the 6th of February.
