There is now an emergency physician in Kingston Hospital’s A&E department 24 hours a day.

This means there is always a dedicated consultant or senior registrar on duty alongside the Nurse in Charge and Coordinator.

They’re providing senior support to the medical teams.

73% of staff surveyed say they feel the move has improved communication in the department.
