Ice dancer Phebe Bekker began learning to skate at the age of eight.
Two British solo ice dance championship titles later, she is representing the Union Jack in figure skating at the Winter Olympics.
This comes just two months after she won silver at her third consecutive British Figure Skating Championships in Sheffield.
She has kept the same partner, 24-year-old James Hernandez from Buckinghamshire.
They trained at the Guildford Spectrum leisure centre.
The pair finished 17th in the ice dance event on their Olympic debut.
