Former Radio Jackie presenter George Alderman was shortlisted for his work improving awareness about the dangers of baby slings.
It’s after his 7-week-old baby boy Jimmy died while being carried inside one in 2023.
He has also raised thousands of pounds for charities including St George’s Hospital Charity, which is the team that nominated him.
George says being shortlisted for ITV London’s Fundraiser of the Year award is a meaningful way to honour Jimmy’s memory.
