The money has been handed over as part of the hospital’s children’s appeal “Time for a Change.”
The Wimbledon Foundation is the official charity of The All-England Lawn Tennis Club and The Championships.
The contribution brings the appeal total to £2.2 million and comes as the charity marks the start of the second year of its fundraising efforts.
