That from Spelthorne Borough Council leader Joanne Sexton.
She says she’s has received a response from the Home Office following concerns about asylum accommodation in the borough.
Ms Sexton wants male asylum seekers removed from The Stanwell Hotel where they are currently based.

This could mean Houses in Multiple Occupation, or HMOs.
Ms Sexton says the Council will continue to press the Home Office for clarity and proper engagement on the matter.
