The Surrey Surgical Centre has officially opened at Ashford Hospital.
The facility will provide additional orthopaedic resources to meet the growing demand for elective procedures.
It will offer patients the choice to receive their surgery at the centre or continue their treatment at their usual hospital.
The hospital trust says the facility is set to make a substantial impact on reducing the length of waiting lists and times.
