The summer holidays aren’t over yet, but parents in Wandsworth are already being given help with a vital back-to-school necessity.

Hundreds more families in Wandsworth are to receive help with school uniform costs.

The council has expanded its School Uniform Support Scheme to include more children from next month.

The initiative is currently in its fourth year.

It previously offered vouchers to families on Free School Meals whose children are starting Reception or Year 7.

Now, the offer will also include all families on the Access for All scheme whose children are joining Reception or Year 7 in September.
