The Met Police have issued a statement warning parents across London to be aware of the signs their child could be vulnerable to radicalisation.

The advice comes after Netflix drama Adolescence sparked a debate about misogyny and ‘incel’ ideology online.

Detective Superintendent Corrigan – the Met’s Prevent coordinator for London – said parents should make themselves actively aware of what their children were doing online and talking to them about risks.

Parents can access help from the Act Early website, and the support line which provides access to advice from specialist officers.
