Complainants said the brightness of the gantry hoarding was “dangerous” and causing “sleep upset.”
The billboard is owned by Wildstone Capital which says there was a technical issue which led to the brightness being above standard.
The system has been reset and the technical issue fixed so that the screen is now operating within its normal parameters.
Wildstone says it will monitor the board over the next week to make sure it is functioning as standard.
