Natalie O’Rourke is in the running for The Grassroots Sportswoman of the Year in the Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards.

Park Lane is classified as a Riding for the Disabled Association centre.

This means it provides opportunities for disabled people to ride, groom and be around horses.

But in January 2021, the stables came under threat of closure after the landlord of the former site decided to sell the property.

Natalie fought to save the space, raising more than £1million to relocate, and was awarded an MBE for her work.

The public vote for the Sunday Times award is open until December the 21st.
