The Environment Agency says it has assembled the largest team its ever had in order to tackle water pollution.

It includes investigators, enforcement officers and lawyers who will deter illegal activity and focus on cleaning up the waterways.

The EA says an additional seven teams have been put in place to hold Thames Water to account alone.
