Police were called at 5.25am to reports of an unresponsive man on a towpath at Lonsdale Road.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

A man, aged around 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is currently being treated as unexpected and the circumstances are under investigation.
