The artist behind a sculpture of the late Queen Elizabeth the Second says it will show her “strong and complex personality”.

Martin Jennings is working with a design team led by Battersea based Foster + Partners to bring the monument to life.

It’s part of a national memorial to the monarch on Birdcage Walk in central London.

There’ll also be a larger statue of the Queen overlooking The Mall, on the other side of St James’s Park.
