It was founded as a one-day event in 1867 by Molesey Boat Club but now runs over two days to accommodate the many participants.
Fe Woods is one of the organisers of the regatta.
She says as well as a fun family day out, this event is also a huge community fundraiser.
Rower, Telfyn Beddoe, is a member of Molesey Boat Club and has been rowing for over 40 years.
