Ten Just Stop Oil supporters have been arrested today after being suspected of planning disruption at Heathrow.
In an Intelligence led operation, the Met police arrested seven people at the airport, and three more at other locations.
It is believed the group intended to gain access to the airside environment, leading to the suspension of all flight operations.
Just Stop Oil had previously stated that they wanted to disrupt national aviation and had planned to target Heathrow this morning.
