Sutton’s Conservative MP has issued an urgent plea to the Mayor of London as the ULEZ expansion date draws closer.

Paul Scully says he understands it’s inevitable the charge will come into force in outer London after the Bank Holiday.

But he says the designated zone should be revised so those attending the Royal Marsden for cancer treatment are not affected.

Sadiq Khan says the expansion of the £12.50 daily charge for the most polluting vehicles is necessary to clean up London’s air.
