Surrey Wildlife Trust is trying to raise £1 million to reverse the loss of biodiversity in the county.

The charity says Save Surrey’s Nature campaign is its most ambitious to date.

It will focus on a number of threatened species including the Nightingale, Yellowhammer, European Eel and Harvest Mouse.

The campaign will also aim to highlight and preserve the country’s wetlands, bogs and heathlands.
