Surrey Police says it has found no evidence of allegations against the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein being reported to them.

The force became aware last week of a redacted report alleging non-recent human trafficking and sexual assaults on a minor.

The alleged incidents are said to have happened in Virginia Water between 1994 and 1996.

Nationally, policing is seeking access to unredacted versions of the material to enable a full and independent assessment.

Surrey Police is continuing to encourage anyone with any information relating to the allegations to contact them.

The force says it has received several reports which it’s in the process of reviewing.
