They have seen a rise in calls to attend collisions over the last couple of days due to freezing conditions.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time, reduce speed, keep a greater distance, and avoid harsh braking or acceleration.
Police also remind drivers that stopping distances on ice can be up to ten times longer.
