Surrey Fire and Rescue held a pass out parade for new recruits last Saturday celebrating the beginning of their service to the community.

It marked the completion of training for four wholetime firefighters and four control officers joining their Joint Fire Control room

Those not heading for Joint Fire Control, will be joining the crews at Godstone, Walton, Camberley and Banstead Fire Stations.

SFRS is encouraging members of the public to consider a career in the service.
